Explore cycling history at the British Cycling Museum

Housed in an old Victorian railway station, The British Cycling Museum has more than four hundred examples of different bikes in addition to an old cycle repair workshop showcasing traditional tools.

Documenting cycling history since 1881, the museum hosts  an extensive library of books and such interesting artefacts as the first cycle oil lamp. The special art gallery contains framed cycling pictures, ceramic cycling items and models of cycles.
