Life improvement index 02: Laptop cases Life improvement index 02: Laptop cases

The life improvement index is just three lovely things every week that make the world more wonderful

Laptops and mobiles are all well and good for making life on the run a little smoother, and the latest most noteable notebooks look just the part. But keeping the pretty faces and cases scratch free while still staying stylish is another matter altogether. If only Mulberry and Apple could get together, we thought…And then they did.

1. Mulberry for Apple

Here’s a collaboration that can’t help but be fruitful – our favourite hardware maker has joined forces with one of the loveliest luxury leather luggage brands there is. The collection includes MacBook & MacBook Pro bags and sleeves and mini cross-bags for iPhone or iPod touch. http://store.apple.com

2.  Pijama

Pijama’s soft cases for laptops, iphones and ipods offer the perfect protection against anything that might otherwise be too uncool for school. Available in a selection of original fabrics, including several vintage prints and lovely woollen tartans, the are made in Milan and are available mail order. www.pijama.it

3. Jiffybag

Keeping your laptop in a jiffybag not only keeps it protected from scratches, but also from thieves. Furthermore, it’s cheap, and disposable, and a perfect fit to boot. www.jiffy-bags.co.uk
